Caroline Lay
Caroline completed her Art Foundation in 2013 at Camborne College, she went on to work with Jeweller Carole Allen, as well as designing and making her own jewellery.
She joined the family business in 2015 and has worked in various roles in the auction house gaining experience in many subjects. Her primary interest & experience is in Cornish Art & Fine Art. Her knowledge of local artists and the Cornish art scene is thorough & comprehensive. Caroline also has strong knowledge of silver, jewellery and diamond grading.
In 2020, David handed over the management of the art department to Caroline. Since taking on the role of Art Sale Manager, Caroline has overseen some of our most successful sales of all time including a record-breaking Modern-British art sale which was held at the collectors home.
We're delighted to finally have a second-generation auctioneer on the rostrum, not to mention our youngest!
